[edit] Firm Statement
Atelier’s production ranges from numerous luxurious residential projects, several residential complexes, institutional and religious buildings, restaurants, to corporate and offices buildings and hotels.
Major restorations of two historic monuments, both recognized by the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), had been completed: Edificio Bolivia, an original masterpiece of architect Carlos Villagrán García nowadays corporate headquarters of Ford Motor Company de México, and the grand heritage mansion located in Avenida Refoma and Río Elba street, were restaurant “El Divino” used to be.
In 2003 investment project Hotel Sheraton Centro Histórico was concluded. This was the first project developed in the area since the 1985 earthquakes and also the first one done in 40 years in Mexico’s City historical downtown. This development represented a great challenge for the firm because it required the coordination of design and drafting construction, architectural master plan, interior, landscape, lighting and furniture design.
