Perry Lakes Park is adjacent to Nature Conservancy land that encompasses Barton’s Beach (Alabama's largest white-sand beach) on the Cahaba River.

The only tower in the United States where people can view birds in their native habitat above the tree canopy.

Building Details
Height 100 ft.
Other Details Auburn University's architecture students disassembled, re-galvanized, moved, then re-built the decommissioned Rumley Fire Tower in Perry Lakes Park.

New stairs and handrails, and a 270-ft. boardwalk that zig-zags over the ecotone next to Back Lake.
