GreenPlan is an open space planning process that will establish a compelling vision, detailed framework, strategic direction, and decision tools to guide the implementation and provision of parks, open space, and trails within the City of Philadelphia well into the future. WRT has worked closely with city agencies and stakeholders to integrate economic, societal, and environmental sustainability best practices into GreenPlan. This will guide open space policy and implementation as a means to measure its success. The final product will help generate awareness and advocacy and serve as a "marketing" tool to secure additional funds, forge new partnerships, and strengthen existing partnerships to acquire land and construct additional parks and trails.
