"Pulver Pavilion, a new "living room" for students, bridges the two original wings of the college student center, Cotter Union, parts of which were also renovated as part of this project. New facilities include a cafe, a snack bar, a student mailroom, and meeting spaces. The main space features a barrel-vaulted ceiling, copper walls, comfortable seating, and a lounge with a fireplace. This addition to the original building, by Charles Moore, was designed to make the union more functional while maintaining the integrity of Moore's postmodernist structure.
