This new 38,000 square foot, themed restaurant was constructed as part of the Downtown Disney expansion in Anaheim Disneyland. The structural systems include steel moment frames and CMU shear walls over a full sub-grade basement. The design team was presented with the interesting design challenge of supporting numerous architectural features such as a large tunneled aquarium entry between the lobby and the restaurant. The construction cost was $28M.
