[edit] Discussion
"...The building was designed and built by the architectural office of Van den Broek en Bakema, with Hans Boot as project architect.
"The commission was given to Van den Broek en Bakema after a closed contest between Jaap Bakema and Carel Weeber, which was won by Bakema. In 1977 the contest and its result gave way to a fierce architectural discussion."
correspondence from Izak Salomons, 2002.1108.
