Commentary

"...the Shamberg House provides a volume of open, glazed public space that was intended...to complement a deep-walled private zone. Because this was planned for only two people, the space has a simpler structure than in the earlier houses."

— Richard Meier. Richard Meier, Architect. New York: Oxford University Press, 1976. p75.
