Solar Decathlon

The Solar Decathlon is a quasi-biennial green-building competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, and featuring energy-efficient residential designs created and constructed by 20 qualifying student teams. Participating universities are primarily in the United States, though teams from Canada and European nations routinely qualify, and China has also participated.
