[edit] Discussion
These are two residences constructed on a three-acre Bridgehampton site. Sandy soils required pile construction in the vacation home for a family of five. Family sleeping quarters were consolidated on a single floor with guest quarters on a separate level. Privacy from the roadway and convenient access to the beach and panoramic ocean views was an objective challenged by the relative proximity of surrounding structures to the east and north.A large double-height communal space provides ample area for entertaining guests while linking the various layers of adjacent living space.
