Sterling Barnett Little, Inc. is a group of architects and consultants located in Arlington, Texas. Founded in 1994 by James S. Little, Jr., AIA, NCARB and Michael K. Barnett, AIA, who have been involved in the planning and design of Healthcare facilities for over twenty-seven years, the firm is committed to providing quality Client-focused service. During the past 14 years, the firm has added three additional Principals and established an Interior Design group to deepen the commitment to our Clients by extending the benefits of working with a full-service architectural and interior design firm. The added value of a full-service firm is in better coordination and achieving higher-quality throughout the project development process. We strive to achieve a creative balance of form and function.
Our founding philosophies, which have been the keys to our success, include:
•The personal involvement of the firm’s Principals in all projects is essential to achieving our goals.
•We must develop satisfied Clients by providing creative and cost-effective solutions to their problems through collaborative effort supported by strong, effective communication and project documentation.
•A commitment to the continuing education of our staff is absolutely essential in today’s environment of constant change.
•We will maintain a Sterling commitment to quality of service and the quality of the end product created for our Clients. Our Clients and their projects will always be our number one priority.
•Our desire, regardless of project size or scope, is to work collaboratively with all members of the project team, including representatives of the Owner, toward well-identified goals and objectives. Our commitment to our founding philosophies is demonstrated by the abundance of repeat business and through our development of a unique and proprietary web-based software application, the Project TeamRoom, which allows all team members to follow and participate in the project development process while simultaneously developing the project documentation that is essential to the team’s success.
Throughout our history, Sterling Barnett Little, Inc. has remained abreast of Healthcare Planning and Design Guidelines, and excelled in helping our clients achieve results on projects. This experience enables us to be an informed and experienced asset, and affords us the opportunity to better understand the goals, special controls, operational philosophies and project requirements of our clients.
