"The Savannah College of Art and Design renovated a four-story Moorish-style synagogue to create a new student center. In keeping with the college's standards for restoration projects, the facility maintains its original unique traits while meeting current building standards and accommodating modern lighting, furnishings, and digital technologies. Students can now take advantage of a cafe, study areas, and lounge space. The college has also located a number of student organizations and services in the new facility.
