Studio 8 Design was founded in 2005, with a core focus towards bringing creative, responsible design to every project.
We believe good design can be achieved and should be a goal for every project whether large or small, regardless of budget. Rather than specialize in the production of one building type, we listen to our clients' goals and wishes, study each site to determine its unique characteristics, and bring these fundamental objectives to the forefront in the development of design ideas.
We believe that good design should respond to its context through orientation, scale, and materials. It should be sensitive to the surrounding environment, yet practical for its users. Our firm is a member of the United States Green Building Council, has two LEED Accredited Professionals on staff, and strives to implement responsible design strategies in every project.
Our project experience is diverse, including commercial, residential, office, multi-family, mixed-use, recreational, and urban park commissions. We also have experience in Master Planning ranging from programming new office headquarters facilities to urban planning for community development. Our attention to detail shines in small scale residential projects where each step is personal to our clients.
We pride ourselves on our repeat work with past clients, bringing professionalism and creativity to every project, and providing a level of service that never wavers from concept design through the end of construction. We consider our clients a part of our design team, and we value the relationships we build on every project.
We also strive to maintain a positive workplace, infusing fun into the creative process. Our people are our strength, and the chemistry we have forged makes every project stronger. Tapping into the strengths of the entire office, we take the studio concept seriously with weekly pin-ups to share ideas and offer constructive criticism with the best interests of each project at heart.
Studio 8 Design is a small office with big-project experience. We are passionate about our work, our clients, and our co-workers. At the end of the day, it is our passion for architecture that makes the difference.
