[edit] Focus

While the firm is expert is a wide range of building types... at the core of each project is a strategic understanding of the client's fullest needs that transcend simple buidling design. Yes, our buildings, places, and interiors are cost effective and achieve the highest standards of international design. But beyond this... we create the emotional bonds that resonate with employees, customers, the stock market, or cultures around the world... creating strong patronage, loyalty, and a sense of very special "place". We kow that the built environment is a means of communication... it has a "voice". Through this understanding of emotional needs, cultural requirements, and a broader view of the strategic buisiness needs of our clients, we create enduring places of value to the user, the real estate markets, and to the larger society. We do not view the client as a means of self expression. Our responsibility to our clients is to represent their values to society and the marketplace with design that is unique to each client and each project.
The work of the firms principals and that of the studio include world renowned destinations for a variety of building types. Included in this list are many commercial projects such as the Dallas Galleria, Houston Galleria, Saint Enoch, Saint Louis Galleria, Plaza Frontenac Repositioning, Highland Park, Brentwood Shopping, Dolce Vita Coimbra, and Dolce Vita Porto. Other projects include the repositioning and renovation to Westwood Country Club, the corporate Headquarters for the DMB&B Ad Agency, Paric Corporate Headquarters Building and Interiors, and the Cedars at the JCA Retirement Community Interiors. Current work includes high rise projects, large master planned communities, many mixed use projects, and important new concepts for education and wellness.
