We are architects and interior designers known for insightful and creative design work in the corporate, hospitality, academic and residential fields.
We have an open studio environment which encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas and information. Our studio is in the Sparhawk building in fabulous Allston Village, a part of Boston we love for its diversity, colorful street-life and great lunch spots.
We named the studio THEREdesign for two reasons. We feel strongly that architecture is not virtual. It has weight, is present and houses real activities for real people. In a world that is increasingly about representation and imitation, architecture still holds the potential to ground human experience. Because we highly valued the collaborative nature of the studio, we liked the idea that THEREdesign sounds like "their" design.
THEREdesign is SOMWBA certified, qualifying for WBE and MBE. We are also a member of the USGBC.
