Notes Tad Jones graduated from the College of Art & Architecture at the University of Idaho in 1996. Before starting his architectural career, Tad worked as a carpenter in the small resort town of McCall, Idaho. Working under a master carpenter, he helped to build resort homes on the banks of Payette Lake and the surrounding resort area. After earning his Architectural degree, Tad began his internship at a large commercial firm in Boise, Idaho. Tad was then asked to join a small residential firm based in Sun Valley, Idaho. Tad designed large resort homes for the company until he and his wife Karma Jones started the firm jones & jones design studio, inc. in 2001. Since then Tad has designed multiple residential and commercial projects. Tad is well known for his modern designs for both residential and commercial projects. He is also known for his work in the historical districts of Boise, Idaho. He is well versed in the varied architectural styles commonly found in the historical districts and his designs respect the history and character of the community and neighborhoods. Tad is a member of the Valley County Historical Preservation Society and serves on the Advisory Council for the College of Art and Architecture at the University of Idaho. Tad is licensed to practice architecture in Idaho, Oregon, Washington & Colorado.
