Thompson A. Dyke, AICP, ASLA, has over 50 years of planning experience covering all areas of the design field. He has personally prepared more than 35 open space master plans, 60 city plans, and designed 50,000 acres of property for real estate developers. Specialty areas for Mr. Dyke include open space planning and preservation, land management policies, land planning, water resource design, and urban design. Mr. Dyke serves on the Landscape Architecture Advisory Panel and the planning advisory committee for the Urban Planning Department at the University of Illinois. He is a registered Illinois landscape architect and member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. He presently serves on an advisory board with the Chicago Metropolitan Planning Council and also serves as Past President of Lambda Alpha International, an honorary land economics society.
