[edit] Description
The Point Structures (TPS) provides turnkey design-build services to the hospitality, educational and housing industries on the global market. Our Founder has designed the world’s first and only modern, modular fiberglass tipi using composite materials. This unique product will be marketed worldwide. Our TP line of products can be used for housing, resorts, schools, offices, retail shops and restaurants. Our structures can be fabricated in four weeks, shipped to jobsites anywhere in the world and installed in two to six weeks by six workers. Using our modular approach to construction, we deliver structures of up to three stories from eight to ten months faster and approximately 8% less expensively than through traditional, site-built methodologies. The modular components are manufactured in a factory setting while site improvements and foundations are being built onsite.
Our original TP product line is based upon the American Indian tipi archetype. We have expanded our product line with the new The Point Panels to facilitate construction of rectilinear buildings as well.
TPS involves President / CEO Randal Jay Ehm’s architectural firm as Architect for all projects requiring jurisdictional approval and permitting. Our current manufacturer is The Aria Group of Irvine, California. Our installation crews are trained specifically on our product line. They will travel to each jobsite and will remain onsite until installation of the composite shell is complete. Our Project Manager will oversee completion of any onsite framing, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and finish work. The duration of this activity depends completely on the ultimate floor plan to be built within the shell, but is not expected to take longer than eight weeks. The repeat involvement of our Project Managers and their crews provides a level of continuity that no other modular company provides, and one that no other builder provides on an international basis.
