Valdez Architects is located in Frisco, Colorado, just 10 miles from Breckenridge. Specializing in custom residential architecture, Valdez Architects is one of the premier Breckenridge architecture firms. We are located in Summit County, between Denver and Vail.
Architects living in the high alpine environment of the Rocky Mountains, and especially fragile places like Breckenridge, should be concerned with preserving our natural and cultural environment. As citizens, Breckenridge is our home and we take our responsibility to high design seriously. As architects, Breckenridge is our canvas. We add something new to Breckenridge architecture by striving for fresh, modern designs that are sustainable, high-performance and energy-efficient places for living.
Since our staff architects live in and around Breckenridge, we have a good feel for designs that fit the land and climate. Though Breckenridge Architects have been around scarcely 30 years, Breckenridge architecture has been around almost 150 years. We are intrigued by these older forms and materials indigenous to Summit County and the Rocky Mountains. Log cabins, mining structures and the Breckenridge architect’s favorite, the A-frame are one of the places where we find our inspiration. Designing this way allows us to design contemporary homes that exceed client expectations and fit with the built landscape in Breckenridge.
