[edit] Profile
- He is the founding partner of CODA Design & Architecture, Shah Alam, Malaysia.
- He studied architecture in UiTM and with a Masters degree gained from The Bartlett School of Architecture. He travels extensively and has worked several years in corporate architecture firms both in London and Kuala Lumpur. This includes VERITAS Architects. He is currently teaching in UiTM and continuously doing research studios loosely base on the idea of Architecture of Reflexivity, or to Design by Chance. His writing has been published, presented and lectured locally and internationally. His role in CODA is obviously to design.
- Looking at the current social-political-economical geography in Malaysia, it is necessary to establish a critical stance in architecture that questions all of the validity and dire-consequences of recent and future building proposals. This is his agenda to reinvent the Department of Architecture UiTM as a school that not only produces graduate that accommodates the practice but most importantly to train visionary collective/individuals into creating 'critical resistant practice'.
