"This renovation included work on roofs, windows, plumbing, bathrooms, electricity and data lines, sprinklers and fire alarms, heating and air-conditioning systems, elevators, and student rooms. The three-building complex houses 470 students in 244 rooms -- mostly doubles but also some singles and triples. The complex also has three apartments and a commons area, and Wilks is home to the live-music floor, which brings together students who share an interest in playing and appreciating live music. New furniture was provided throughout. The renovation is expected to receive LEED certification. " — Chronicle of Higher Education
